corona... or cerono?

who doesn't enjoy a good beer? i know i do, and so does my good friend bridget. the story which follows would, and could, only take place in our lovely town here in asia. so, it's a sunday night, and although it's illegal to buy alcohol in the states at this time, asia has no such rules. so, to take advantage of our sunday-eve liberties, bridget stopped by our local hua-lian to pick up a corona. she thought she'd reach out to me, her roommate (who already had a 6 pack of corona at home) and buy a beer so we could connect and enjoy a fine brew that evening. she arrived home pleased and happy to tell me of her purchase, so we decided to crack them open later. 10 o'clock rolls around and with our coronas properly chilled, and the day's work and errands done, we sit down to relax. can-openers are apparantly in short-supply in this city (though it's rumored to be the 2nd largest alcohol-consuming city in the world right behind moscow), so i find the plyers to open up our bottles. yes, the plyers. thank you, adam for that tid-bit of information. plyers plus condensation plus me equals trouble. as i am opening my bottle, i end up pinching a section of my thumb in the plyers. it quickly turns into a blood-bubble type thingy on my thumb (sorry for the graphic description). so i'm dancing around the house with a beer in one hand and my thumb over my head to stop the throbbing of my other hand. bridget comes around the corner and asks me to taste her beer, which i do, and it tastes a little strange. i look at the bottles together... and lo and behold, bridget did not, infact, buy a corono, but rather a CERONO. that's right, a cerono. bridget got ripped of in classic prada v. prado style. however... plyers, blood thumb, and a bottle of cerono aside... it was a classic sunday night in asia.
